The new Dynafit headquarters is not a house, but an ascent to heaven. The way is the goal. Inside, a spacious open staircase reaches up to the climax of the facility, the eye-catching bouldering hall seen from afar. The dynamic of ascent unfolds in the visual, structural, spatial, and organizational qualities of the building. Beyond creating a spectacular sculptural building, it creates a special working atmosphere that is open and dynamic, facing upwards together. It is the mountain experience in a built form. It is also rationally and technologically mature like a Dynafit shoe: a progressive forward flex and easy to handle.

The dramatic staircases and connected ramps are where all the functions come together. It is where inside and outside, landscape and building, sports and work, meet each other and weave together in daily use. The stairs provide the quickest routes to get to other departments, workplaces, meeting rooms, the lecture hall, training facilities, and the showroom. The formal offices are oriented towards an informal space that is slightly sloped and ultimately leads outside, into nature and the surrounding mountains.

The architecture is spatially and atmospherically spectacular but also rational and reserved. It will form a permanent background for changing fashions, cheerful colours, and colourful furniture. Crystalline and mineral, like the mountains: white-colored, raw exposed concrete, polished screed that remain visible, calcium silicate insulation, white glasses. Technical and durable like mountain equipment are the silver vaporized sun protection curtains, silver anodized aluminium and white-coated steel.

With its wide river and motorway, sweeping fields and wooded areas, the wide Inntal valley and the surrounding mountain peaks will be mirrored and elevated by the new building. A typical pre-Alpine landscape potentially emerges between the Dynafit headquarters and the motorway, including a small lake, twisted pines and rocks.
