This parish Church dating from the early 1950s was thoroughly renovated. Earlier refurbishments were removed to bring out the qualities of the original design. The altar, pews and baptistery were reorganised and a new confessional was built. Modern technical installations, such as tempered walls, seat heating and loudspeakers, have been invisibly integrated into the existing structures. A side chapel replaced the sacristy. Its curved shape and rounded benches provide a beautiful backdrop for a variety of religious activities. New elements and furniture were designed in a modest, handcrafted style, as was characteristic for the church’s date of origin. The new and old have been brought together in a harmonious way to create peaceful setting for sacred gatherings.
